How do I add or edit my emergency profile?
Open the app → tap Edit Profile. You can lock editing with Face ID/Touch ID in Settings.
How do I create family profiles?
From Home, tap Add in the Family section. Each member can have allergies, medications, blood type, and contacts.
How do I enable reminders?
Go to Alerts & Reminders → allow notifications → configure Medication reminders and Health checkups with your preferred schedule.
Backup & Restore (iCloud Drive)
- Backup: Settings → Backup → Create iCloud Backup.
- Restore: Settings → Backup → choose a backup → Restore. You can Replace existing or Merge.
- Backups are JSON files stored in your iCloud Drive: iCloud Drive / CareTag / Backups.
How do I remove ads?
Purchase Premium from the Paywall screen. If you already bought it, tap Restore Purchases.
Emergency QR
Premium provides QR for vCard or Call Primary. You can show the QR inside the app. (No Lock Screen widget required.)
Troubleshooting
- Biometric prompt not showing: ensure Face ID/Touch ID is enabled for the device.
- No notifications: iOS Settings → Notifications → allow for CareTag.
- iCloud backup missing: make sure you’re signed into iCloud and iCloud Drive is enabled.
- Premium not applied: tap Restore Purchases while logged into the same Apple ID.
