Terms of Use
Effective Date: 2026 September 8th
These terms apply to your use of Vidi (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. What Vidi Does
Vidi helps you review the videos already in your iPhone's photo library and delete the ones you no longer want. The App is a tool that acts on your instructions. It never deletes anything on its own.
2. Deleting Videos Is Permanent — Please Read
You are responsible for what you choose to delete. Videos you delete through Vidi are moved to the Recently Deleted album in the Photos app, where Apple keeps them for approximately 30 days. After that window, or if you empty that album yourself, the videos are gone permanently and cannot be recovered by Vidi, by us, or by Apple.
- Every deletion requires your confirmation, plus a second confirmation from iOS itself.
- Back up anything you cannot afford to lose before using the App. iCloud Photos, a computer backup, or another copy are all reasonable options.
- Deleting a video from a synced library may remove it from your other devices as well.
- We are not liable for videos you delete, including deletions made by mistake. Please review carefully before confirming.
3. Free Use
You can review an unlimited number of videos for free. Free use includes up to 20 deletions in total for the lifetime of the App on your device. This count is stored on your device and does not reset if you reinstall the App.
4. Purchases
- Vidi Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is nothing to cancel and nothing that renews.
- The price is US$9.99 and may vary by region. The exact price for your account is always shown by the App Store before you confirm the purchase.
- The purchase unlocks Pro features for the life of the App on the Apple ID used to buy it. You can restore it on your devices with the Restore Purchases option.
- Payment is processed by Apple and charged to your App Store account.
5. Pro Features
Vidi Pro unlocks:
- Unlimited deletions
- Biggest-first sorting, which shows your largest videos before the rest
6. Refunds
All purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds are governed by Apple's policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
7. Storage Figures Are Estimates
File sizes and reclaimed-space figures shown in the App come from iOS and are provided for information only. Actual free space on your device depends on the Recently Deleted album, iCloud Photos optimization, system caches, and other factors outside the App's control. We do not guarantee any specific amount of recovered storage.
8. Your Content
Your videos are yours. We claim no ownership of and no rights to them, and we never receive them. You are responsible for having the right to use and delete the content in your photo library.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent the App's purchase or free-allowance mechanisms, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, videos, or content, arising out of your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised terms.
13. Apple Standard EULA
The Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies to all users of the App. Where it conflicts with these terms, the Apple Standard EULA governs.
